Chapter 3 of Our Text

In regards to Chapter 3 of "Blogs, Wikis, Podcasts and Other Powerful WebTools for Classrooms" by Will Richardson. This was a great chapter because it gives in-depth instructions on how to start a blog. We obviously already had the opportunity to start our own blogs in class but this will be a great reference tool down the road.

There were also some great addresses listed to popular Educators' blogs. I appreciate the fact that Richardson suggest we start small when producing a class blog. He said to start with students visiting other's blogs to get used to them. Next, he suggests we post homework assignments and links to our infant blogs to further get students used to them.

Will Richardson also reminds us that we need to use blogs ourselves if we want to effectively teach them. Practice what you preach, so to speak?
